Dr. Christine Persaud is a Board Certified Physician in Sports Medicine, Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine. She completed her residency at Stony Brook University and her fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
She is a Certified ImPACT Consultant for sports concussions and is currently licensed to practice medicine in New York and New Jersey. She is affiliated with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and St Barnabas Medical Center. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor and the Program Director of the Sports Medicine Fellowship at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University.
Dr. Persaud is the recipient of the prestigious STFM Award, Society of Teachers in Family Medicine, 2013 and the Chairman’s Award from the Stony Brook University Hospital, 2013 for her passion and dedication to her profession
